Large Format Printing

Now Available for HBC Participants!

Higuchi Biosciences Center has acquired an HP DesignJet 800ps Large Format Printer to meet HBC Participants’ needs for poster printing.

 

How to get your poster printed

Email your print request and your poster file to HBCLFP@ku.edu
HBC accepts poster files in Adobe Acrobat .pdf format only

Be sure to include:
• Poster size
• Poster stock (coated or glossy)
• Requested due date
• Account to be charged

Capacity is limited so individuals are encouraged to request printing appointment in advance. When scheduling your print time, be aware that posters with dark backgrounds and/or full ink coverage can take up to a full day to dry and will not be immediately ready for transport.

Any reprints will be charged to the grant, with the PI being notified in advance of the 2nd reprint.

Please note:  Due to the possibility of virus transmission from memory sticks and/or CDs, we now require all poster files be submitted via email to HBCLFP@ku.edu.  If you believe your file is too large to email, please contact us and we will work with you to reduce the file size.

Only HBC participants and members of their research groups will have access to the service, as the printer was purchased with IDC generated by participants.
