This year the University of Kansas will be hosting the Big XII Sponsored Programs Conference in Lawrence, Kansas, at the SpringHill Suites. The conference will be co-hosted by the Office of Research and Graduate Studies and the Higuchi Biosciences Center.

The conference offers seminars for all levels of research administrators and provides an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues from other Big XII schools. The format will be similar to preceding years with some exciting new changes:

• A special departmental administrator track will be included in traditional pre- and post-award presentations.
• Special breakout sessions are planned for those interested in NIH-sponsored COBRE and IDEA programs.
• Space will be offered for senior university administrators to discuss current topics.
